Owner Declaration
Last updated: 1 July 2026 · Staging environment — demo product content.
What the ownership declaration means and how it fits the transaction.
Summary
Before publishing, every seller signs a declaration that they are the legal owner or an authorised representative. This lets listings go live fast, while genuine ownership documents are verified later — only after a real offer is accepted.
What you declare
- You are the legal owner of the yacht, or
- You are fully authorised by the legal owner to sell it, and
- The information in your listing is accurate.
Consequences of a false declaration
False declarations may lead to listing removal, permanent account suspension, and possible legal action.
Declaration is not final verification
The declaration confirms intent and authority. It is not the same as final legal verification. Ownership documents (registration certificate, ownership certificate or bill of sale, identity, insurance) are requested only after an offer is accepted, and reviewed before escrow opens.
Fraud risk
If fraud risk appears at any stage, the platform may request additional evidence, pause the listing, or refer the account to compliance review.
Frequently asked questions
Do I upload documents to publish?
No. Publishing needs only the declaration and media.
When are documents verified?
After an accepted offer, before escrow.
